Giving to the Library
GIFTS & DONATIONS PROGRAM
The library accepts tax deductible donations by cash or
check in any amount. Gifts may be designated by department
for a specific material type such as books, videos or DVDs, CDs,
historical materials, etc.
Donations are often made to the library in memory of
someone, in honor of a birthday, anniversary, retirement,
Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, or just because. All donations
will receive a letter of acknowledgement. In the case of a
memorial donation, the family will be notified of your gift.
If the donation is in honor of someone, they will receive a
letter informing them of your gift.
The Gifts & Donations Program is a lasting way to remember
or honor a person and at the same time make materials
available to the public which the library would not
ordinarily be able to purchase through our municipal budget.
Ask for a Gifts & Donations form at the Information Desk in
the Adult Department or in the Children’s Room. A staff
member will be happy to assist you.
For your convenience, you may
print a copy of the Leominster Public Library Gifts and
Donations Form, fill it out and either bring it to the
library or mail it with your donation.
